What We Do

SPECIAL NEEDS FITNESS CERTIFICATION

Strong Education provides online special needs fitness certification courses for personal trainers and service providers who want to work autism and other disabilities. We are recognized by the National Academy of Sports Medicine as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, which means you can earn up to 2.4 NASM CEUs by studying with us.  We are also recognized by The American Council on Exercise (ACE) for up to 0.5 CEUs.

PRIVATE TRAINING

A Special Strong trainer is much different than just another “personal trainer.”Did you know that there are companies that offer certifications for less than $100 and only require a weekend class to attend to be considered a “certified personal trainer”? A Special Strong trainer is much different. Click below to learn more about the benefits of having a Special Strong trainer.

INDIVIDUAL & FAMILY NUTRITION

Which foods and supplements will improve my child’s behavior? What foods increase or decrease inflammation? How can I help someone with special needs lose weight? Does the gluten-free casein-free diet (GFCF) actually help with individuals on the spectrum? These are all common questions that we hear from our clients.Click below to learn more about the benefits of having a Special Strong nutritionist.

LOCAL BOOT CAMPS

When you think of a boot camp, you may be thinking of a drill Sargent and lots of yelling. Don’t worry – you won’t get that with us. Our boot camp model is adapted to the special needs population. We offer seasonal and year-round local boot camps all across the DFW Metroplex. Click below to learn more about the benefits of our Special Strong local boot camps.
