What Our Trainers Say
It is wonderful to be able to do what you truly feel called to do every day. I have always enjoyed working with people who have disabilities, but it was previously only in volunteer settings. Special Strong has given me the opportunity to use my skills and gifts in a way that makes a difference in people's lives. They are very supportive and facilitate my success as a trainer in any way they can. I am so grateful for the opportunity to have a career with them!
I got home from work one day and my wife said, "honey, I think you've found your calling with Special Strong." It's been over a year and I still love every second of what I do!
Working at Special Strong has given me the opportunity to combine both of my passions, fitness, and working with special needs clients and their families. Daniel and Trinity go above and beyond, not just to their clients and community, but to their staff as well. Working at Special Strong feels like being part of an incredibly busy, enthusiastic, hardworking, growing family. Everyone that joins our team loves what they do, and that passion shines through everything that we do. I love my job because I see the positive impact that we are making in our client's lives when they realize that they are stronger and more independent. Not many people can say that they love their job, but I am one of the blessed few who can, and I get to help the Special Needs community along the way.
As the training manager for North Dallas, I love talking to clients and having the flexibility to work virtually. Most importantly, I love the direction that this company is headed in and the Christian values that they live out on an everyday basis.
We have created a life-giving culture where solutions can be created, people can prosper, and God can be glorified. If we were to describe our culture in two words, it would be love and fun! If you love the special needs population and want to have fun, you may be a great fit for Special Strong!
